Organized by the Open Movement Association, the Handpan Festival usually takes place in March at Casa do Campino in Santarém. The event brings together musicians and handpan builders.
During the three days of the festival there are also workshops, concerts, lessons to learn how to play handpan, jam sessions and also an arts market, with the presence of several handpan and handicraft builders.
